The Coast Guard Auxiliary is a civilian volunteer organization which supports the U. S. Coast Guard, primarily in the promotion of boating safety through public education, courtesy vessel safety checks, safety patrols afloat, and search and rescue operations.

Our Flotilla serves the Solomons and Charles County areas, including the Patuxent and Potomac Rivers with the assistance of our Charles County Detachment!
